The
surveillance module is used for the following major functions:
-
Surveillance
Assistant Details
Logging, Blacklists and Restrictions
Information
about cheats, including their images, alias names, games played
and physical characteristics can be entered into the system
from other casinos within a group, or from 3rd party lists
such as the Griffin Book. This information is available when
a new player is entered onto the system, so that the undesirable
could be a 'possible duplicate'.
Similarly,
it is possible to cross match this rogues list against the
existing Player database, so that any Players already entered
onto the system, are checked against the latest undesirables.
Once again, the facial image is useful when doing such checking.
Undesirable
information is shared between casinos within a group so
that once an undesirable has been entered onto a site the
data can be forwarded via replication to the other casinos
within that group.

The
ability to view all the registered players is available
to surveillance. Flexible searching facilities are available.
Casino
Event Viewer
An
integral part of the Surveillance module is the casino
event viewer. This is a single repository for all significant
events generated by the various systems in the casino.
For example, alarms from gaming tables, player attendance
alarm messages (e.g. A grade player in casino), fill
in progress AR01, new player matched against an undesirable
etc, all can be viewed via this module.
If
a member of the surveillance staff is using another
application e.g. Microsoft Word and an alarm occurs,
the system will automatically bring Surveillance Assistant
to front of the screen and play a windows wave file
sound, in order to alert the staff member.
A
number of alarms are generated by the systems: -
