The EndX system can provide a distributed, multi-casino, multi- site solution, which will be both fast and reliable. At the same time it can provide central configuration and reporting functions in a real time environment.

To achieve this, a server holding the local information will exist at each casino and a central database will be held at the head office location.

In order to share information between head office and the casinos, database replication will be used. This ensures that data is held locally and centrally, so in the event of WAN failure, or a disconnection from the WAN, the impact on the business is minimal.

Entry of data is split between head office and the casinos

Information will be entered at head office and sent down to all the casinos, such as new promotions, voucher types, warning parameters, authorisation settings, etc. Other information will be entered at the casinos and sent up to head office for reporting and accounting purposes, e.g. new players, transactions, player tracking information, money laundering information, balancing information, visit information.

At head office, when the users wish to produce a report (e.g. attendance graph by date), they are able to select the casino. The head office users will have access to Club Assistant, the EndX Reception, administration, marketing and reporting Module, and also the Cage Assistant Module.

  Consistent Shared and Standing Data

A key benefit of this solution is that standing data will be entered in one place to provide consistent information throughout the group. In existing casino system configurations information such as the following is configured centrally: -

1 Restriction Types
2 Membership Types (e.g. silver, gold, etc)
3 Promotion / Expense Types
4 Analysis Categories / Sub-Categories
5 Advertising Codes
6 Promotional Groups
7 Countries
8 Ethnicity
9 ID Checking Rules
10 ID Types
11 Promotional Queries
12 Player Grades
13 Centrally Generated Reports
14 Staff Groups and associated Authorisation Levels
15 Undesirables
16 Table (Game) Types
17 User Groups (for Access Levels to the software)

As all the standing data is consistent is becomes a simple task to generate reports centrally for further analysis.

Shared Players Data

Using the replication technologies within SQL Server, EndX is able to offer a group wide players system. Players entered locally are automatically checked using our duplicate checking facilities in Club Assistant. The duplicate checking facilities connect to head office in order to see if the person is already a player of the group. If so all the information is immediately inserted into the local casino database. Any visit information, restriction information for other casinos or for the group is also inserted into the local database. Any subsequent visits or restrictions for a player will be sent via replication to all the casinos he has registered with. In short, membership, restrictions, visits, and player-grading information is distributed both up to head office and back down to other casinos linked to a particular player.

Cash Desk Management Information at Head Office
If the entire functionality of the Cage Assistant is implemented, at head office it will possible to have central cage management and accounting information from within the EndX application. Once again reports can be run for individual casinos or for all casinos.

Player Management Information at Head Office

At head office it will be possible to obtain reports on visitor statistics at individual or all casinos, (including graphs by hour, weekday, etc), and to obtain central reports on promotional activities.

Central System Event Access for Security / Compliance / Audit

Within the application a large number of system events are recorded on the 'Casino Event Viewer'. This tool allows all the things of interest in the casino to be available to a manager in a single location. As this information is replicated up to head office, centrally your audit department can select one or all casinos and view all the events (or select events) for a particular date or over a range of days. So if a casino failed to balance the cash desks by more than a certain number of Dollars on the previous gaming day the compliance department would see that and many other similar events on their screen at head office. This information can be replicated either at user-defined intervals, or in real time.

As a further feature it is possible to have the system send SMS messages for certain events so that management can respond at head office as quickly as possible.

  Central Report Distribution

Using the report and query wizards within the application it is possible to centrally distribute reports generated by the Report Wizard. Head office can give access by user group at the local level. It is also possible to dictate which user groups have access to Crystal Reports within the individual casinos. The software has the runtime files for Crystal Reports implemented.

  Central De-duplication Wizard

There is an inbuilt de-duplication wizard in the Club and Player Tracking applications. This wizard can either be used at local casinos to identify duplicates, or at head office. At head office the wizard will show duplicates across a number of casinos. Once a duplicate is found, by using a central 'Merge' function, the data from the 2 or more casinos is combined into an individual record, and all information is transferred from the discarded record into the retained record. It is also possible to merge at the local casinos as players who are only associated with the local casino.

  Central Restrictions

Using downward replication, any restrictions created will be sent to the individual casinos that are currently associated with that player. It is also possible to create restrictions locally at the casino. Restrictions for all casinos can currently only be set at head office.

Central Entry of Undesirables

Undesirables entry is part of the Surveillance and Club Assistant products. It will only be necessary to enter Undesirables once at head office (from entries in the Griffin book or other such documents). The information entered (including any scanned images and ID), will then go down to all the casinos in the group. Whenever a new registration is made, the system will crosscheck against these undesirables.
