As
part of the on-going relationship between EndX and Mikohn,
EndX have been able to develop a software driven solution
to match the requirements of casinos worldwide for the purpose
of displaying multimedia on plasma screens.
What
can it display
The
controller along with the management modules is a multi-media
scheduling device capable of showing:

The

Where
can you display it?
EndX
have developed the plasma controller using standard development
tools. As a result the controller can display across many
different platforms offering 2 independently controlled sources
from each controller unit. Each of these outputs can be split
across many multimedia displays by using "off-the-shelf"
AV splitters, boosters and hardware.
By
utilising standard AV equipment the site can display information
across any or all of these display types.

Additionally
casinos could elect in the future to replace their existing
min/max bet signs with a multimedia display.
This display would show the table name, cycle through live
video, display table min/max bets, progressive amounts and
even table statistics. EndX are developing the enhanced version
of the plasmas controller to include these options.
These
units are available form many leading supplier. It is controlled
using a standard video signal.
What
will you show?
The
displays scattered around the casino site will have the ability
to display any marketing information specified by the casino.
Each multimedia presentation can be tailored to each site
or be generic across the whole estate.

All
these animations can be overlayed with the Jackpot amount.
The winning animation sequence can also be edited at the point
of the win to show the site at which the jackpot was won.
After the win the previous winners gallery can also be updated
with the data and automatically updated at each site.
Winning animation sequences can be designed by the EndX graphic
division and branded to your specification.
The
Plasma Controller Software
The
Management Software can be installed and run on any client
that has connectivity to the network. For support and update
of the system EndX support will require access to all the
installed plasma controllers through the existing WAN. The
management tool will control what is displayed, for how long
and when at each of the sites. Small video files and new overlay
information can be updated to the controllers remotely. However
larger video files will be sent via DVD to the site for local
upload.
The
basic screen of the Show manager application is split into
three tabs. Where 2 video outputs are selected - i.e. full
presentation and overlay only an additional tab will be
displayed. The additional Overlay only tab will allow for
the addition of text messages for regular "flashshots"
of promotions or up and coming events.

Design
Services
EndX
have in-house designers and developers that can create multimedia
effects and presentations for use with the plasma controller.
Our
graphic designers will work with your marketing team to
create powerful multimedia presentations. Once these presentations
are "signed off" EndX will deliver and install
the updates to the local sites. The presentations will be
"cut to" DVD and uploaded at the local site. This
allows bespoke presentations to be tailored to individual
sites or regions.
Web
Services with Progressive amounts
It
has been noted that there maybe a requirement to update the
jackpot amount on the web-site. EndX will be able to offer
the interface between the web page and the actual Progressive
amounts. This will ensure that the Web page will always display
the actual progressive in real-time - and will be refreshed
at regular intervals.
