Cage Assistant is a comprehensive cage management tool. Designed to incorporate multiple cages and pits; Cage Assistant provides the hub between the gaming floor and management reporting requirements. The application balances assets and transactions to provide a detailed security audit of the cage activities. Flexibility is the key to the success of Cage Assistant, offering complete control over the cage environment to satisfy any jurisdiction or operational procedures. It is a standard feature for EndX to make any changes required to ensure that Cage Assistant meets the entire jurisdictional requirements for each and every individual casino.

Incorporated into Cage Assistant are credit management tools that allow total control of the casino's liability. Predefined credit limits enable the cashiers to an efficient level of service to the casino's most valuable players, whilst maintaining the required account management. Definable acceptable types allow the casino total control of the acceptable cash instruments, from credit cards to personal markers. The core of Cage Assistant is the asset management. The definable denomination groups ease that management. The groups can include plaques, tokens, lucky chips and vouchers in addition to the basic cash and chips. The characteristics for each denomination are then setup so that the applicable denominations are made available for table transactions or slot transactions. A cashier is only responsible for the assets of their cage. This ensures that a cage balance and reconciliation can be performed quickly with minimal disruption to customer service. Should there be a cashier error then the correcting transaction will automatically trigger alarms, including paging messages, to alert senior management of the cashier error.

Cage Assistant is configured using balancing areas. These areas can be a single computer per cage or several computers all acting as one cage. The balancing areas are then assigned to a table pit. In larger casinos this streamlines the table transaction process so that the nearest available cage issues the table fill.
 
 
 
Foreign currency processing is a vital transaction for many of the World's casinos. EndX have developed this functionality to meet the most stringent requirements of the international casino industry. The casino defines the acceptable currencies and whether there should be separate rates for buy/sell cash and cash/cheques. The conversion to the local currency can have a commission percentage applied and be rounded to the nearest currency unit prior to the completion of the transaction. A slip to confirm the transaction will be produced and a copy will be made available for the player.

Currency transactions can be held up to a definable maximum number of days to allow the player the opportunity of buying back the currency, at the same rate. Alternatively, the casino can opt for selling whatever currency they have available to all players, as with a bureau de change. This option also allows the casino to buy in bulk currency from a bank to restock the casino reserve. The currency transactions that are not held, at the player's request, can be bulked to ease the overall currency processing operation.

In order to simplify the currency rate maintenance casino groups have the option to centrally input the rates that will then be replicated to take affect at every casino. Preferential exchange rates can be offered to any player, with the approval of casino management. Cage Assistant can calculate the profit/loss of any rate change, to automatically balance the cage following the change in the value of the held foreign currency stock.

 
 
 
Cage Assistant is the natural place to combine the operations of several EndX applications. TableLink™ and Pit Assistant both report directly to Cage Assistant in order to facilitate table accounting. Similarly for the slot machines where Slot Assistant or CasinoLink™ reports the financial results back to Cage Assistant. The cashiers can also use Cage Assistant to record player buy-in/cash-out transactions, for Player Tracking Assistant, as well as redeeming bonus points. Surveillance Assistant monitors many of the cage operations for alarm situations and audit purposes.
All of this information is then available in several report formats, including pie charts and bar graphs. Cage Assistant, as with all of the EndX applications, offers the flexibility and scalability to provide the functionality for a single casino up to the multi-site casino group.
